My name is Shawn Welch, I work 9-5 for one of the largest publishing companies in the world as a Sr Media Editor in Digital Strategy for Higher Ed Arts and Science textbooks. This site is where I work on personal projects such as iOS app development.

A few of my personal apps are in the app store, but I also work with the National Association of Photoshop Professional (NAPP) and Kelby Media Group as their iOS Designer and Developer.  Through NAPP I built the Photoshop World iPhone/iPad application, as well as the soon to be realized Kelby Training iPad application.

Finally, I am also an author for Peachpit Press currently writing my first book, “From Idea to App: Creating native iOS UI, animations and gestures” with a publish date of March 31st, 2011
